Recovery is limited to the amount of use the drive has had since that incident occurred. Level 1 describes a drive that may have had files accidentally deleted from it, or was accidentally formatted. What is an industry standard is the level of recovery your media requires. Unfortunately, there is no industry standard for recovery rate calculation, so most companies either blindly choose something in the 90% range, or turn away more difficult jobs to avoid lowering a number. If your drive is clicking, beeping, or making other irregular noises, this is a good indication it will need physical repair and require additional parts.

Our flat rate pricing is transparent and there are no hidden fees for the data recovery service itself. We can promise that you will only ever be charged for something that is absolutely needed. We can't promise every drive that is sent in can be recovered without additional cost, but there are many things you can do to avoid them. Firmware is one of the many issues covered by our flat rate recovery service. If you've sent a drive with a very simple issue such as bad firmware, they've essentially over-estimated and keep the additional charge as revenue. The idea being that they've accommodated for all possible issues, including some of the worst/most expensive.

While other low-price recovery companies are able to offer pricing by only accepting the easiest jobs, our service focuses on charging you for the services you absolutely need, and we can accept drives with any issue! We prefer to think of it as only paying for what you need!
At least that's what most of our competition will tell you. Your first thought might be you get what you pay for. The no charge guarantee was a no brainer as a last ditch effort for us! We selected the $299 package and did choose to pay the additional parts fee of $169 to have a successful story!! The parts charge was still a no brainer because of it did not work we would still not be charged!! I just can't express my gratitude and recommendation for this company enough!!! I'm rambling. The loyal company helped me find Secure Data Rescue although they knew nothing about this company. I took to a local data rescue place with no success. He is now 12! I have two younger children that have never been documented in print!! While the digital era is wonderful in many ways it has made me realize I need to get on the ball of printing these precious gifts so we can cherish them without the fear of losing them again!! I tried to extract the data from the unresponsive external hard drive by removing it from its casing and using direct cords. In scrapbook world my eldest child is not even two. I absolutely can not express how thankful I am for Secure Data Rescue!! I had potentially lost all the pictures of my children.
